This evening, on September 8, the Defence Forces of Ukraine attacked Russian command posts in the temporarily occupied Donetsk.

According to the analysts, as a result of a massive missile and drone attack, the Defence Forces of Ukraine struck the command posts of the 41st Combined Arms Army and the 20th Motor Rifle Division.
The attacked command post of the 41st Army was located on the premises of the Research Institute of Complex Automation.
The command post of the 20th Guards Motor Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces was located on the premises of a metallurgical plant in Donetsk.

Drones also attacked the “Topaz” plant, occupied by Russian troops. According to analysts, there was an army-level command post, but it is currently unknown which army it belonged to.

“Militarnyi” reports that local Telegram channels have posted photos from the plant’s premises, indicating significant building damage from the strike. Images published by local residents suggest that the strike might have been delivered by “Peklo” or “Bars” cruise missiles.
It is noted that the characteristic placement of the jet engine and support wing, recorded on video, supports the version regarding the use of the “Peklo” missile.
