Ukraine has introduced new personal sanctions against individuals and companies supporting Russia’s military-industrial complex, shadow fleet, and energy sector.
The corresponding decree by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been published on the website.
Today, Zelenskyy introduced another set of sanctions against Russia in the field of the military-industrial complex.
Restrictions have been imposed on 37 individuals and 35 companies (one from Belarus). Among them:
IT companies and their executives supplying solutions for the hostile military-industrial complex, legal entities and beneficiaries involved in the production of electronic warfare and other equipment, enterprises and owners who have organized imports bypassing sanctions.This decision includes economic and other restrictive measures, with oversight of their implementation assigned to the National Security and Defence Council and relevant state bodies, as well as coordination with international partners to enhance the effectiveness of sanctions.
It is worth noting that today, September 10, Ukraine synchronized anti-Russian sanctions with the United Kingdom, particularly targeting individuals involved in the operation of the shadow tanker fleet.
According to the Sanctions Commissioner Vladyslav Vlasyuk, this year’s UK sanctions have been 100% synchronized. He noted that this includes:
47 individuals, 81 legal entities.
