Massive Russian attack on Khmelnytskyi region: a man was killed, dozens of houses damaged


During a massive combined attack by Russian troops on the night of September 20, the Russians attacked Khmelnytskyi region. They struck one of the communities in the region, destroying and damaging dozens of private houses.

While extinguishing a fire in one of them, rescuers discovered the body of a deceased man; there are injured individuals. The head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration Serhiy Tyurin reported on the enemy strike and its consequences.

The official stated that air defence forces were repelling the enemy attack, but they could not destroy all the targets.

"I regret to inform you that as a result of the enemy attack in the Dunaivtsi community, the body of a deceased man born in 1979 was discovered during the extinguishing of a fire in one of the houses. My sincere condolences to the family and friends. Two local residents also sought medical assistance, without hospitalization," Tyurin wrote.

Preliminarily, it is known about two destroyed houses, with about 20 other homes damaged.

"All relevant services are working at the scene. Information on the extent of the destruction and casualties is being clarified," Tyurin added.
