Shelling in Sumy region damaged railway infrastructure and caused power outages


Due to shelling in the Sumy region, railway infrastructure has been damaged, resulting in a power outage.

This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Railway workers have prepared reserve diesel locomotives, awaiting the all-clear signal “to inspect the tracks, ensure clearance, and resume movement.”

Currently, the following trains are delayed:

№779/780 Kyiv-Sumy (+02:57); №787/788 Kyiv-Shostka (+01:05); №773/774 Shostka-Kyiv (+03:30); №143/144 Sumy-Lviv (+01:40).

Depending on the train’s stopping location, passengers are either in station shelters or inside the train cars.
