Russia is already conducting a hybrid war against Denmark and Western countries, trying to cause internal disagreements among allies to reduce their support for Ukraine.
This was stated by the director of the Danish Defence Intelligence Service, Thomas Ahrenkiel, reports DR.
Information from Danish intelligence
According to the publication, Russia is using military means, including aggressively, to put pressure on Denmark without crossing the line into armed conflict.
"Russia seeks to create uncertainty and internal disagreements among allies so that we stop supporting Ukraine and refrain from making decisions that contradict their interests and further harm the Russian economy," said the director of the Danish Defence Intelligence Service.
According to Ahrenkiel, Russia is using means against Denmark that would have been unthinkable before the war in Ukraine.
