Businessman and co-founder of "1+1" Borys Fuksman has passed away

At the age of 79, Boris Fuksman, former co-owner of the TV channel "Studio 1+1", a Ukrainian-German entrepreneur, media magnate, and philanthropist, has passed away.

Fuksman’s death was announced on Instagram by his cousin, film producer Oleksandr Rodnyanskyi.

"My brother has just left this world. In fact, we are cousins, but we were always close. From the first day of my life to the last day of his. His name was Boris Fuksman.

He was a successful German entrepreneur who lived in Europe for over half a century. Starting from ’zero,’ he achieved significant success thanks to his energy, ideas, and character. He never gave up," the author writes.

He admits that Boris always supported him and his ’crazy projects,’ the main one being the Ukrainian TV channel "1+1."

"I had no one closer to me. Except for my wife and children. I don’t have the strength to write about him, a man full of life and love. I just want to share my grief. Forgive me for being personal," the post reads.
