The Cabinet of Ministers launches a state system for coordinating the evacuation of residents from frontline territories

The government is streamlining the evacuation process of residents from frontline communities and implementing the State Information System for coordinating evacuation and providing assistance to individuals from temporarily occupied and frontline territories.

This was stated by Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko.

According to her, the new system will allow for a clear distribution of responsibilities among the structures responsible for evacuation, as well as analyze the needs of evacuees.

"This will help to significantly improve the services that people receive in transit centers and temporary housing," Svyrydenko emphasized.

She explained that the evacuation process now has clear coordination:

The Ministry of Development, through the Coordination Headquarters, will provide overall management; The Ministry of Social Policy will be responsible for social support and reintegration of people in the communities; The State Emergency Service (SES) will be responsible for safety, notification, and the technical aspect of the evacuation; Local administrations will be responsible for organizing assembly points, registration, transportation, and logistical support; The National Social Service will coordinate the work of multidisciplinary teams, which include social workers, psychologists, lawyers, and doctors.

"People who are forced to leave their homes due to hostilities must receive quality care and support. We are working on creating decent conditions for this," Svyrydenko emphasized.
