Ukraine may start importing electricity due to new Russian attacks, – Zelenskyy

Ukraine expects that problems with electricity may continue in the future amid new Russian attacks. Therefore, it will be necessary to start importing from the EU.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during a press conference with the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas.

"We expect problems with electricity. We may need to import electricity after one or two attacks," the President noted.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine always uses the opportunity to import electricity during winter. Such an opportunity for Ukraine is "always open, and this is important."
