The SBI confirmed the fact of the detention of the former head of "Ukrenergo" Kudrytskyi.
According to the investigation, in 2018, when Kudrytskyi held the position of Deputy Director for Investments at «Ukrenergo», he, together with Lviv businessman Hrynkevych, who is currently under arrest, misappropriated funds in tenders related to the reconstruction of the external fencing of substations.
Two contracts worth 68 million UAH were signed with a private company, while the contractor received an advance payment of over 13.7 million UAH from the state company, which was misappropriated without any work being performed.
