Zelenskyy announced the creation of a coalition to support Ukraine’s energy sector after Russian strikes

After Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy, logistics, water supply, and gas supply, it was decided to create a coalition to support the country’s energy sector.

This was announced by Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, David van Weel.

"Not only electricity was under attack, as you are well aware. And recently, a decision was made to organize such a coalition to support Ukraine’s energy sector," the president said.

He added that Ukraine immediately felt the support of Norway, the Netherlands, and personally from the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

"I think we will organize a video format meeting of our small team in the near future. But I am confident that we will be able to combine efforts to unite the efforts of other countries as well. We will need support," Zelenskyy emphasized.
