In France, five more individuals suspected of involvement in the Louvre robbery have been arrested.
This was reported by AFP, citing information from the prosecutor’s office.
According to Le Figaro, only one of the detainees is likely to have directly participated in the robbery. He may have been identified through DNA evidence found at the Louvre. The others might possess information about the planning of the crime.
The arrests were carried out in Paris and the neighboring department of Seine-Saint-Denis.
