There are results in the destruction of Russian occupiers on the Pokrovsk front.
This was reported by Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening video address on November 2.
According to him, he listened to military reports on the situation at the front and thanked the units for their work.
«I especially commend the units of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade. I also thank the soldiers of the Special Operations Forces, special units of the Military Law Enforcement Service, the National Police, the SSU, and intelligence for their effective active operations both in the Pokrovsk areas and in the Kupiansk areas. I thank the soldiers of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment for their high-quality combat work in Donetsk region. For fire support in the Pokrovsk areas, I thank the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade», - said the head of state.
The President recognized the units of the 127th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade for their battles in Kupyansk and near the city.
«The 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade – Kostyantynivka direction – thank you, guys! And also the Orikhiv direction, the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade – thank you», - added Zelenskyy.
On the same day, the General Staff reported that the Defence Forces are holding back the Russian onslaught and, as of 16:00, stopped 36 enemy attacks, while also conducting active operations and achieving certain successes – in some areas, the advance of our units reaches up to 0.4 kilometers.
