Russian troops have occupied the village of Uspenivka in the east of Zaporizhzhya region, which previously served as a key stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Yanchur River.
Information about this was published by the military public page DeepState, effectively confirming recent Russian claims about taking control of Uspenivka.
Russian forces have also advanced towards the settlement of Solodke, and further north, on the border of Zaporizhzhya and Dnipro regions, towards Pershotravneve.
In addition, they have established themselves in new positions to the south, in the area of Okhotnyche, conducting an offensive already on the right bank of the Yanchur River.
It is likely that all these maneuvers are aimed at bypassing Hulyaipole in the Zaporizhzhya region from the north, where a significant fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is located.
