Vovchansk is almost destroyed: AFU finds it difficult to set up positions due to the city’s devastation

Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region is practically destroyed, almost completely ruined, making it difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to establish positions and hold back the Russians.

This was reported by Viktor Trehubov, the head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Grouping.

"The situation in Vovchansk is grim, as the city no longer exists. The city is in the state of Avdiivka or Volnovakha. This is a border town that held on for years, but now there is simply nowhere to establish a position. Ukrainian positions are maintained in the southern parts of the city, where something physical still remains, where it is possible to fortify," Trehubov noted.

At the same time, Russian forces are actively dropping aerial bombs on the city.
