The death of former Party of Regions deputy Iryna Berezhna unintentionally drew attention to the alleged father of her daughter – businessman Borys Fuksman.
People close to him shared facts about his life with the "Informator".
The media mogul has Ukrainian roots. He is an investor, an active member of European communities, and the cousin of film director Oleksandr Rodnyanskyi.
The father of the founder of the "1+1" TV channel helped the businessman start a career in filmmaking. Due to his desire to earn money, Fuksman engaged in smuggling, which eventually earned him his initial capital.
The media mogul was officially married only once in his life – to a woman from Kyiv named Erna. He moved to Germany with her. There, they separated, but not officially.
At that time, the businessman owned capital earned through antiques and smuggling. Hence, the money could have passed to his wife.
Later, he met his current partner Liliya.
Fuksman already had a daughter, and he raised her child as his own. However, he didn’t stop there, and eventually, Liliya gave birth to their daughter together.
As it turned out, she is a cousin of Nataliya Kobzon (the daughter of Joseph Kobzon).
In the 90s, the Soviet singer was associated with the army. This gave the businessman direct access to supplying the military.
Fuksman began smuggling: household items of Soviet officers, and, according to some reports, used weapons of the Soviet contingent in Germany.
Virtually nothing is known about the media mogul’s family. According to some sources, Berezhna’s daughter is his child.
A source told the publication that Fuksman suffered a stroke five years ago, which significantly weakened his health.
According to some reports, his partner found out about his relationship with the former Party of Regions member and forced the businessman to break up with her. He still provided for the child. The source also reported that Berezhna insulted Fuksman in public and called him an "old fool."
