Raider-lawyer Artem Shamray corrupts the police

While the best sons and daughters of Ukraine are giving all their strength to defend their country, criminal elements have emerged from their hideouts and are wreaking havoc.

A vivid example is the criminally notorious lawyer Artem Shamray and his organized crime group, which previously faced setbacks for an unsuccessful raider seizure of the Chaika residential complex in Kyiv.

It is astonishing and outrageous that Shamray and his accomplices are still not behind bars for their actions. Why? The answer is obvious – the criminal lawyer has been able to resolve everything with bribes.

Today Shamray "distinguished" himself once again by attempting to take control of the Odesa’s Starokonka. For this, the seasoned raider uses well-tested methods: deceiving the owner and forging documents.

In the summer of 2020, gaining the trust of his client and the owner of the "Starokonnyi" shopping center, the raider-lawyer Shamray arranged a lease of the market for 35 months to a company he controls LLC "Starokonyyi Market".

In the lease agreement, Shamray includes unique rental conditions. With all the owner’s tax obligations on the property amounting to about 500 thousand hryvnias per month, Shamray’s tenant is supposed to pay a rent of 75 thousand hryvnias according to the agreement. Which, by the way, was never paid.

On June 23, 2023, at 23:59, the lease agreement between the company LLC "Starokonnyi Market" and the owner of the shopping center - the company "OKS CAPITAL" expired. Starting June 24, the owner of Starokonka tries to reclaim his property. But this does not fit into Shamray’s plans. Once again forging documents, he wants to keep the shopping center under his control. For this, to prevent the owner from entering the property, "titushky" were brought in.

Furthermore, the raider decided to play it safe and secured the support of the police. As it became known, Artem Shamray bribed Ivan Zhuk, the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa region, with a quarter of a million dollars. All that is required of Zhuk is to ignore the owner’s actions and assist the raider in keeping Starokonka under his control. The assistance to the raider on site is directly provided by the special unit "Titan" of the Security Police Department in the Odesa region.

In fact, having received the "approval" from Ivan Zhuk, the active participation of the head of the Security Police Directorate in the Odesa region Ihor Shyshymenko, and the silent consent of the head of the Security Police Department Oleksiy Bereznevych, the employees of the special unit "Titan" became the protection and stronghold for the raiders.

This is the same police department that refused the owner to conclude a security agreement because of an allegedly existing "business dispute with the tenant". What kind of dispute can there be if there is a decision by the Supreme Court of Ukraine on the return of the stolen property, a decision by the anti-raider committee of the Ministry of Justice, and a change in the register in favor of the owners?

The media previously reported on the weakness of the raider Shamray - documenting everyone and everything during the transfer of bribes. One of the heads of the General Prosecutor’s Office knows about this "weakness" firsthand. At that time, for 500 thousand US dollars, the scandalous lawyer hoped to avoid criminal responsibility for himself and his lawyer accomplices.

This raises the question: did Shamray also document the "agreement" with Zhuk this time?

In fact, the Odesa law enforcers, represented by Zhuk, Bereznevych, and Shyshymenko, are breaking through the bottom with horns, muddied in the "Shamray swamp".
