This was stated by Dmytro Lykhoviy, spokesman for the "’Tavriya’ operational and strategic grouping of troops.

According to Lykhoviy, Russians have attempted to break through in the Mariupol sector 31 times over the past 24 hours. This part of the front is currently the "hottest".

He noted that one should not focus only on the Avdiivka sector, as the Maryinka sector is currently "in the first place". According to him, the situation in the Avdiivka sector is also "hot" - the Defence Forces repelled seven occupants’ attacks over the last day.

The Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors account for the vast majority of Russian army strikes with aircraft, artillery and kamikaze drones, the "Tavriya" spokesman noted.

"It is worth noting that the situation is dynamic. Our troops successfully regained several positions in the Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors yesterday. In the Avdiivka sector, more than a dozen Russian occupants surrendered or were captured," said Lykhoviy.
