President ’overdid it’ with underestimation of losses, - military officer about losses announced by Zelenskyy

Military officer Stanislav Bunyatov, who runs the well-known Telegram channel “Sniper Says,” commented on Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement that 31 thousand Ukrainian military personnel have died since the beginning of the war.

He believes that the president “went too far” with underestimating losses relative to their real level.

“As I said, only the side that is preparing to surrender publicly announces real information about its losses. Zelenskyy voiced the understated ones, but went too far so much that it caused nationwide discontent and complete distrust,” Bunyatov wrote in his TG channel.
