The United States will not send troops to fight in Ukraine, the White House said after French President Emmanuel Macron refused to rule out sending Western troops.
"President Biden has made it clear that the United States will not send troops to fight in Ukraine," National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said, Barron’s reported.
Biden believes the "path to victory" is for Congress to approve blocking military aid "to ensure Ukrainian troops have the weapons and ammunition they need to defend" against a Russian invasion, Watson added.
