Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Poland could temporarily completely close the border with Ukraine, stopping bilateral trade.
According to him, such negotiations are being conducted with Kyiv.
“I do not hide the fact that we are talking with Ukraine about temporarily closing the border. I am ready for tough decisions regarding the border, but in agreement with Ukraine,” RAR quoted Tusk as saying.
Onet adds that this is a "temporary closure of the border and closure of trade in goods."
“Such a decision will only be temporary and mutually painful. Poland has a trade surplus with Ukraine. We sell much more,” Tusk said.
