After significant aircraft losses, the enemy disappeared from the airspace, but is now beginning to restore its activity. The speaker of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ihnat, said this during the telethon.
According to him, there was even a period - several hours - during which there was no air target in the sky, because the invaders saw that they were being targeted.
“They are drawing conclusions and have disappeared from our airspace,” he noted. He added that this situation was temporary.
Ihnat reported that the planes appeared again and during yesterday several dozen guided bombs were also sent in different directions.
“Well, now by morning we already see several attack groups of Su-34 and Su-35, which can prepare to launch strikes in the eastern and northern directions,” emphasized the speaker of the Air Force Command.
Ignat noted that after the shooting down of the second A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft, they have not been in the sky for a week.
“It’s already the seventh day, if I’m not mistaken, the A-50 has not appeared either in the Rostov region or in the Sea of Azov. The enemy said that they will restore those in storage. It’s difficult to say how fast or long this process will be. But still, these aircraft they really need it in order to plan attacks and conduct radar reconnaissance of our state’s airspace,” he added.
