The Russian army attacked a power substation in Zaporizhzhya region. It happened on the night of 9 March.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

As noted, the occupiers attacked the 330 kV Ukrenergo substation with a drone at night. No one was injured as a result of the attack. The station equipment was not damaged and there were no power outages.

The Ministry of Energy adds that there is no power shortage in the energy system. Exports to Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova and Hungary are predicted - up to 5778 MWh.

A unit at one of the thermal power plants was also taken out for repairs. At the Odesa Thermal Power Plant, due to technological violations, equipment was turned off, resulting in a short-term loss of power to household consumers and infrastructure in Odesa.
