AFU stopped another attempt to break through Russian subversive reconnaissance group - General Staff
Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped another attempt by the Russian occupiers to exile a sabotage and reconnaissance group. The enemy tried to penetrate the territory of the Sumy region.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the operational situation on March 31.
The military command clarified that the enemy saboteurs wanted to break through in the area of the village of Stara Guta.
“Our units stopped an attempt to infiltrate enemy DRGs in the area of the village of Stara Guta, Sumy region,” the General Staff said in a statement.
It is also noted that this village has been subjected to artillery and mortar fire from the invaders during the current day.
The report indicates that the presence of Russian troops is still recorded in the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions in the border areas. The enemy also carries out sabotage and reconnaissance activities.
