Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with military personnel and officials on drones.
He reported this on Facebook.
“Together with the military and officials, we held an almost three-hour, most specific meeting on drones,” the President noted.
The meeting participants updated and detailed production plans for the current year for all types of drones: FPV, bombers, reconnaissance aircraft, as well as long-range drones for special tasks, Zelenskyy emphasized.
“We discussed how to ensure the flexibility of our defense industry. The needs of the front are constantly changing. Our manufacturers must respond to them in a timely manner,” the head of state emphasized.
As Zelenskyy said, “important decisions were made: to simplify the procurement procedure, import equipment, increase the production of projectiles for drones and train operators. A project to build an integrated system for managing electronic warfare equipment to protect our soldiers and equipment from Russian UAVs.”
According to the President, this system is already being tested in certain areas.
“We have planned to scale the project across the entire front,” he added.
