Polish farmers plan to resume blocking in the direction of the Uhryniv-Dolhobychuv checkpoint

Tomorrow, on 2 April, Polish farmers plan to resume blockades at the Uhryniv-Dolhobychuv crossing point, where they temporarily suspended their actions on Thursday for the Easter holidays. Now there is free movement in both directions.

The KV became aware of this from a report by Ukrinform with reference to the speaker of the State Border Service Andriy Demchenko.

"As of today, the blockade is being carried out in the direction of the Yahodyn and Rava-Ruska checkpoints. Polish protesters do not allow trucks to cross into Poland at all through Yagodyn and Rava-Ruska. In these directions, zero indicators of border crossing by trucks leaving Ukraine have been recorded in the recent period," Demchenko said.

As of the morning of April 1, there are a total of 500 trucks in queues in Poland on two blocked routes, 250 in front of each of them. Cars and buses cross the border freely everywhere; for this category of transport, movement on the other side of the border is not limited.

The spokesman reminded that earlier Polish farmers had stopped blocking truck traffic at the Krakivets, Shehyni and Ustyluh checkpoints, and there is now heavy traffic both leaving and entering Ukraine.

Queues on the territory of Poland still remain in the Krakivets direction - 950 trucks, Shegini - 600. However, with the intensity of traffic that exists now, drivers do not have to stand in lines for weeks.
