Information about the evacuation from Kharkiv and its environs due to the possible encirclement of the city by Russian troops, allegedly disseminated by the State Emergency Service, is a fake.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ukraine warns about this in its Telegram channel.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the Center for Combating Disinformation, informs that these publications are hostile information injections aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine,” the message says.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified that with the help of such fakes, the Russians, unable to achieve what they want on the battlefield, are trying to sow panic and chaos among Ukrainians and urged not to trust dubious sources of information.
