Zelenskyy responded to the drone strike on Kharkiv

“An attack on Kharkiv, an ordinary residential building. Three suicide bombers. A vile and cynical attack, when rescuers arrived at the scene of the attack, the terrorists attacked again,” the head of state wrote.

The attack killed three rescuers and a woman. The President expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.

Zelenskyy stressed that strengthening our country’s air defense will save lives and protect Ukrainians.

"Russian terrorists will be held accountable for their actions in Kharkiv and for all acts of aggression against our people. We are working with our partners to strengthen the defense of our cities and villages and protect our citizens. Strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities directly means saving lives," he said the president .
