Occupants massively shelled the border of Chernihiv region: power lines damaged

On April 7, Russian troops shelled the Ukrainian border area of the Chernihiv region. A power line was damaged in the Chernihiv region.

On the air of United News, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration (RMA) Vyacheslav Chaus said that the invaders opened fire on the region at least nine times (33 shells).

After lunch, the enemy used unguided aircraft missiles, which damaged power lines in the Novhorod-Siversk region. Several hundred subscribers were left without electricity.

“Russia is a terrorist. The terrorist, firstly, wants to sow panic among the population, including the Chernihiv region. On the other hand, they want to keep our Armed Forces in good shape,” Chaus added.

Answering a question about enemy DRGs, the official said that this is information sensitive information. The head of the RMA confirmed that Russian troops are “attempting sabotage measures on the territory of the region” and “recently such attempts have been unsuccessful for the enemy.”

Chaus added that last year there were more attempts to break through the DRG. This year they are there, but there are fewer of them. “The enemy has begun to use more drones and drops from UAVs, this is such a change in tactics,” the official said.
