Defenders of Ukraine on Tuesday, April 23, shot down enemy reconnaissance drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region. In particular, two Russian Orlan-10s were destroyed.

This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration Serhiy Lysak. This information was also confirmed by the East air command.

“We landed another drone - Orlan-10. The defenders shot down an enemy “bird” that was circling in the Dnipro region. The sky above the region is clear. Thank you, defenders!” – Lysak noted.

The East cultural center clarified that the enemy “bird” was shot down at about 20:00 in the Dniprovsky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Lysak later reported another successful downing.

“Minus the UAV. Another Orlan-10 was shot down in the Dnipro region. Air defence forces are on defence – day and night,” he noted.

During the war in Ukraine, the occupiers use Orlan-10 to monitor extended and local objects. The threat of these drones is that there are too many of them in the Russian army. However, Ukrainian defenders constantly shoot them down.

One enemy Orlan-10 UAV costs an average of 100 thousand dollars, but the price may vary depending on the configuration.
