
The new Mobilization Law will come into force on May 18, 2024.
On April 11, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill on mobilization in Ukraine as a whole. The law has already been signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It will come into force on May 18, 2024.
According to the adopted law, men of military age - from 18 to 60 years old - have a number of obligations, the Ministry of Defence said .
Thus, during mobilization, men of military age are required to have a military registration document with them and present it at the request of authorized persons.
Other responsibilities also include:
Conscripts and reservists must be assigned to military units or formations to serve.
There is also a ban on sending outside Ukraine or transferring vehicles intended to complement the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
