The Cabinet of Ministers allocated more than 15 billion hryvnia for the purchase of drones
At a meeting on Tuesday, April 30, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to allocate an additional 15.5 billion hryvnia for the purchase of drones.
This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, reported with reference to a government meeting.
“Today the government is allocating an additional 15.5 billion UAH for the purchase of drones. This is an additional resource to the 43.3 billion UAH that we have already allocated for drones this year. The funds will go to the administration of the State Special Communications Agency, which is involved in the relevant procurement,” Shmyhal said. .
According to him, the allocated funds will allow the supply of 300 thousand drones to the Security and Defence Forces.
