The government lifted restrictions on imports of business services that had been in place since the start of the war. Previously, the National Bank made a similar decision.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this during a government meeting.
“We are abolishing Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 153, which limited payments for the import of goods and services. This is something that is very important for business,” he said.
According to him, liberalization will open up new opportunities for Ukrainian entrepreneurs - to enter new markets and strengthen Ukrainian exports.
Shmyhal said that this government decision is part of a broader policy of deregulation that is currently being pursued.
“More than a thousand permits, licenses and certificates regulating the interaction between the state and business have been reviewed. Some will be completely abolished, some will be simplified, some will be converted into digital data,” the prime minister added.
