What is known about the new SOF commander Oleksandr Trepak
He was a military man, a hero of Ukraine, 47-year-old General Oleksandr Trepak, known by his call sign "Redut".
He has been fighting in Donbas since the beginning of the ATO in 2014. He held the defense in Bakhmut, where there were artillery warehouses.
From August to October 2014, he led the defence of Donetsk airport. He became the prototype for the main character in the film "Cyborgs" about those battles.
