On the morning of Sunday, May 12, the Russian military attacked the Korabelnyi district of Kherson. Residential areas of the city came under fire.
This was announced by the head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko. He also published a video of the aftermath of the Russian attack.
According to the head of the RMA, the enemy was attacking from the occupied left bank of the Kherson region.
“Not all Kherson residents have a day off today. Not everyone can remember their relatives or congratulate their mothers. In the morning, the Russian army struck the Korabelnyi district of Kherson from the temporarily occupied left bank. Residential areas were under fire,” Mrochko said.

In a video published by the head of the RMA, eyewitnesses spoke about the enemy attack.
“One arrival, at 07:30 there was an explosion, so loud. No one was injured, everything was fine. Only we were in shock,” said one of the local residents.
“We were sleeping, the child was scared, the daughter was scared. It was just so abrupt that we didn’t expect it,” said another.
