Zelenskyy will visit Spain soon
According to Radio Liberty, the President of Ukraine will arrive in Spain in the coming days to sign a bilateral security agreement with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez .
The publication notes that the agreement that Madrid will conclude with Kiev will be similar to those that Ukraine previously signed with Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain and other countries.
This will be Zelenskyy’s first official visit to Spain, although in October 2023 he already flew to Granada for one of the European summits.
At the same time, the Spanish Ministry of Defence is completing the preparation of a new package of military assistance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. First of all, Madrid must finally deliver to Kyiv the first 10 Leopard 2 A4 tanks, out of a total batch of 19, by June 30. All of them are currently being repaired at Spanish military bases.
The aid package also includes infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank weapons, artillery shells, light and heavy machine guns and logistics vehicles.
