Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called on EU countries to transfer Patriot systems to Kyiv

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said that the Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems that European countries have are best kept in Ukraine and called for these systems to be transferred to Kyiv.

Frederiksen at a press conference with the leaders of Sweden, Germany, Finland, Iceland and Norway: “These systems are in Europe. It is better to have air defense systems in Ukraine than in NATO countries.”

According to her, Ukraine “needs five or six more Patriot systems.”

The Danish prime minister also noted Ukraine’s need for ammunition, pointing out that "Ukrainians need more."
