The Russian army shelled border areas and settlements in the Sumy region 13 times at night and in the morning, a total of 78 explosions occurred.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.
Eight territorial communities came under enemy fire.
In particular, the invaders attacked the Seredyno-Budska and Novoslobidska communities with multiple launch rocket systems, resulting in 4 and 30 explosions, respectively.
The Russians dropped 13 mines on the territory of the Bilopolska community.
The Krasnopilska community came under enemy fire from cannon artillery - 9 explosions were heard.
Russian troops attacked the Esman community with small arms and mortar fire - 6 explosions were recorded.
The invaders fired mortars at Khotyn, Velykopysarivska and Znob-Novhorodska communities, causing 8, 3 and 5 explosions respectively.
