Robert Fico is not in danger, the operation went well - Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia
Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia Tomas Taraba claims that the operation on the head of government Robert Fico went well and his life is not in danger.
He said this in an interview with the BBC .
According to Taraba, "As far as I know, the operation went well - and I think that ultimately he will survive." He added that now Fico’s life is “not in danger.”
The Slovak Deputy Prime Minister said that Fico was shot “from very close range.”
"He was seriously wounded - one bullet went through the stomach and the second hit a joint. He was immediately taken to the hospital and then for surgery," Taraba said.
