Ebrahim Raisi and his delegation died in a helicopter crash - Iranian Vice President

Iranian Vice President Mansouri reports that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his delegation died in a helicopter crash.

“The process of identifying the bodies has begun,” Tasnim agency.

Along with Raisi in the helicopter were Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the head of the East Azerbaijan province Malik Rahmati and the imam of the city of Tabriz Muhammad Ali al-Hashem.

Raisi was 63 years old. He has served as President of Iran since 2021.
