Night attack on Ukraine: Air defence forces destroyed all 29 shaheds
On the night of May 20, the Russians resorted to another night attack against Ukraine. The air defence managed to destroy all UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type launched by the enemy.
This was reported in the Telegram channel of the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk.
During the shelling, the enemy attacked the Kharkiv region with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, and also launched 29 suicide bombers from the Primorsko-Akhtarsky region, as well as Kursk.
The following were involved in repelling the attack:
- fighter aircraft;
- anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force;
- mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces;
- electronic warfare units
A total of 29 shaheds were destroyed in:
- Odessa;
- Mykolaiv;
- Poltava;
- Lviv regions.
