NABU conducted a search of the former Deputy Chief of the General Staff in the high-profile Dzvin-AS case

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau searched the apartment of former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Radion Tymoshenko in the case of the Dzvin-AS automated troop management system.

This is stated in the court files and confirmed by Slovo i Dilo’s interlocutors in the anti-corruption agencies.

On 25 April, NABU detectives searched Lieutenant General Tymoshenko’s apartment and seized his mobile phone. The phone showed signs of communication with Viktor Artykhovych, Head of the Automation Development Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Chubatyuk, beneficial owner of Everest Limited LLC, and the chairman of the commission for the acceptance of stage 2 of the research and development work on the Dzvin-AS system, as well as deleted chats in messaging applications. The phone was recognised as material evidence and seized.

Investigative actions were also carried out at the residence of Yuriy Pastukhov, former director of Everest Limited LLC. His phone, laptop, flash drive, hard drive, memory card and system unit were seized. The media contained information on the procedure for creating a research and development work on the Dzvin-AS system; a copy of a letter from the Department of Information Protection of the State Special Communications Service and other documents. Access to the correspondence on the carriers was restricted by the owner’s logistical protection. The seized property was seized and recognised as evidence.

In addition, the place of residence of another person involved in the case, who headed the working group on the development of the Dzvin-AS system, was searched. Four mobile phones, an iPad and two laptops were seized from him. The property was seized and recognised as evidence.
