
As of the morning of May 26, Russia holds three warships in the Black Sea. There are no launch vehicles among them.
There are no sightings of Russian warships in the Sea of Azov or the Mediterranean. This was reported by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“As of 07:20 on May 26, 2024, there are 3 enemy ships in the Black Sea; there are no enemy ships in the Azov and Mediterranean Seas,” the message says.
Moreover, as of 07:00, only one enemy ship was recorded in the Black Sea.
The Ukrainian Navy also said that within 24 hours, in the interests of the Russian Federation, 6 ships passed through the Kerch Strait into the Sea of Azov, 2 of which were moving from the Bosporus Strait. Vessels in the interests of the Russian Federation did not pass through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea.
“The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS),” the Navy noted.
