Putin will applaud if Biden does not attend Peace Summit - Zelenskyy
The visit by United States of America (USA) President Joe Biden is important for the Peace Summit and other leaders looking at Washington’s response.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo.
As Zelenskyy noted, a response is expected on the participation of several representatives of the African continent. At the same time, there are already positive signals.
The President noted the importance of Biden’s visit. He explained that the United States supports holding the conference, but “does not know at what level,” which is not the strongest decision.
“I believe that Biden is needed by the Peace Summit and other leaders who look at the US reaction. Not his presence... This will be applauded by Putin (Vladimir Putin, Russian dictator - Ed.), and standing up,” he added.
