Russian troops attacked Kharkiv again. At about 5 p.m. on May 28, they launched CAB attacks on the Kyivskyi district of the city, and a fire broke out at a civilian infrastructure facility.

This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov and the head of the Kharkov regional military administration Oleh Syniehubov . The invaders also hit one of the settlements in the Kharkiv region, where a fire broke out on the territory of a farm.

According to the Kharkiv City Council, the invaders attacked the Kyivskyi district of the regional center. At first, it was erroneously reported that the enemy CAB had ended up in the garages of townspeople, but the information was later clarified.

“The blow hit the Kyiv district of the city. The CAB hit the garages, a fire broke out in some of them. No casualties initially. UPD: the fire is behind the garages, the garages are not on fire,” Terekhov noted.

The Kharkiv RMA clarified: the Russians carried out the attack at about 17:00. Civilian infrastructure was under attack.

“At about 5 p.m., the invaders struck the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. At this minute, there were no casualties. According to preliminary information, there is a fire in the civilian infrastructure,” Syniehubov said at 5:13 p.m.

He also noted that shortly before, around 16:40, the invaders attacked one of the settlements in the Kharkiv region.

“A fire broke out on the territory of a farm. Preliminarily, there were no casualties,” said the head of the KhRMA.

The Air Force reported the launch of the CAB by Russian troops into the Kharkiv region at 15:44.
