
Diya has launched a beta test of a new service, through which Ukrainians will be able to submit a marriage application and register it in the application.
This was announced on Telegram by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
“Soon, Ukrainians will be able to simply submit a marriage application and register it. To do this, they will not need to go anywhere – Diya will be enough. The service will be super relevant for long-distance couples, as well as for the military.
The system will offer available dates for the ceremony via video link, but not earlier than five days in advance. The marriage registration certificate will automatically come into effect, and the couple can order the physical document by Ukrposhta delivery or pick it up at a Ukrposhta branch,” the minister explained.
According to him, couples who meet the following criteria can join the beta test:
“There is no such online marriage service anywhere in the world,” Fedorov said.
