Ukrenergo said that Ukraine can return to planned consumption restrictions
The timing of the application of restriction measures will be notified additionally.
The reason for the application of restrictive measures is the consequences of massive enemy missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian power plants, which resulted in a significant deficit in the energy system. From March 22 to May 8, the Russians targeted all major thermal and hydroelectric power plants five times. Due to extensive damage, they are unable to produce as much electricity as before these attacks began.
