Rocket attack on Balakliya: number of casualties increases to 13
In the Kharkiv region, the prosecutor’s office is investigating the injuries of 13 people during a missile strike by Russian troops on Balakliya on June 1. Eight children were among the victims.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram .
“On June 1, at about 5:00, the Russian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on the territory of the private housing sector in the town of Balakliya, Izyum district. A total of 13 people were injured. Under the procedural leadership of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the statement says.
