According to him, this is caused by the withdrawal of two units of nuclear power plants for scheduled repairs, as well as the consequences of shelling of energy facilities on May 31 and June 1.

Electricity consumption is also expected to increase due to rising temperatures and the use of air conditioners.

“The deficit, which we were deprived of for several days this week, will return. And it will return in a fairly serious volume. It cannot be physically covered by the import of electricity from Europe. Therefore, starting tomorrow, planned shutdown schedules are expected throughout the day,” - Kudrytskyi said.
