According to journalists, after the attack on a Russian facility in the Sea of Azov, an oil slick was visible on satellite images, and all information about what happened in the Russian Federation was removed from all publicly available resources.

According to Newsweek, Ukrainian drones are threatening Russian ships in the Sea of Azov, indicating Kyiv’s intention to attack Moscow’s infrastructure outside the Black Sea.

Attacks on ships and infrastructure of the Russian Black Sea Fleet forced the Russian Federation to redeploy ships from occupied Crimea to the northeast - to Novorossiysk and beyond.

Recent satellite images have shown that Russia has withdrawn at least 18 naval vessels from Novorossiysk, including two Vasyl Bykov-class patrol ships and NATO-classified Ropucha-class amphibious assault ships. The move is likely aimed at reducing their vulnerability to Ukrainian drone strikes.

But, apparently, even these ships are under threat. The British publication Sky News reported that on the night of Saturday, June 9, the Ukrainian Defence Forces launched a “coordinated attack” on a landing ship located in the Sea of Azov.

Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko said that a ship was damaged near the port of Yeisk in the Krasnodar Territory.

Other data indicates that a Vasyl Bykov-class patrol ship was damaged.

It was reported that satellite images showed an oil slick, and all information about the attack was removed from all public resources. The Russian Federation tried to hide the ship in Yeisk, but it did not work.

It was noted that there is a real hunt for the Russian fleet in the Sea of Azov. A Ukrainian source told Sky News that Russia "cannot operate freely in the Black Sea" and these ships are being used to move ammunition and cargo to occupied Mariupol and further to the front line.
