The ship has already been fitted with a 76mm Leonardo Super Rapid gun in the bow and a 35mm Aselsan Gokdeniz anti-aircraft gun in the stern. There are also likely to be elements for anti-ship missiles.

The command of the Ukrainian Navy for the first time showed video testing of the corvette "Hetman Ivan Mazepa" (F211), which is being completed in Turkey. This is the first official video confirmation of the fact that the corvette "Hetman Ivan Mazepa" was released for testing; before that there were only photos on social networks. Defense Express writes about this.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Navy reported that this corvette should join the national fleet in 2024.

The footage released shows that there are civilians on the deck of the ship, who, as Defense Express analysts suggest, may be employees of a Turkish company. It is also noticeable that the helicopter landing pad has not yet been fully assembled at the stern of the ship.

The ship already has a 76-mm Leonardo Super Rapid gun mount in the bow and a 35-mm Aselsan Gokdeniz anti-aircraft gun mount in the stern of the ship. Also, probably elements for the deployment of anti-ship missiles.

“What type of anti-ship missiles should be deployed there, and the anti-aircraft missile system for this corvette is not yet clear,” the experts noted.

They recalled that earlier the commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Oleksiy Neyizhpapa, announced an indicative list of weapons that would be used for the ship "Hetman Ivan Mazepa". It was about 2x4 launchers for Harpoon or Neptune anti-ship missiles, 21 vertical launchers for RIM-116 type anti-aircraft missiles, 76-mm and 35-mm artillery mounts, and the likely use of Aselsan STMU remote-controlled combat modules and Aselsan STAMP light air modules .

It is also not yet known under what agreements Türkiye will transfer the corvette to Ukraine.
